Ballet is back in schedule! Yoga has gotten me a little stiff so I wanted to work on being graceful again. And to shake it up a bit I decided to bring back bellydance classes in my week too! :) Oh my gosh this past week was packed with good moments. If you didn't know already, I value my time more than ever, and I always look for the little surprises every single day. Since I've conditioned my intellectual mind to get out of the way {to save the worrying and stress about stupid shit}, I've found my days to be more enriching. I am enjoying every single day along with the new people I cross paths with.
The week started off with dinner with two of my best friends in Little Tokyo. I've always loved Little Tokyo, but after discovering the bookstore near the place where we were having dinner, I went crazy. The place is so huge and colorful, and the worst part was the art section. OMG, the art section. My anxiety increased and I wanted to buy everything. But, I held back and fought with myself to only buy cute little miniature supplies just to start off with for now...! ...And then go back for more next week...! Muahahaha..
Japanese curry.. enough said. And sharing that with your besties. We had an amazing dinner following long hours of talking, laughing our faces off, and catching up. I love the connection we all have.
And yes, another stupid notebook/sketchbook with an awesome pen that I bought at the Japanese bookstore in Little Tokyo. I love that they're so small! It's perfect for my little muses and when I want to sneak in quick sketches while I'm working! I've decided that this notebook will be for sketching my little mini fashion blogger muses throughout my week. And by the weekend I'll do a full on clean illustration series dedicated to my favorite fashion blogger. :)
My six sensory class is still going and definitely making an impact on me. And since I've started it, so many crazy transformations have been happening to me internally. I'm definitely experiencing shifts and I feel like my mind is constantly being downloaded with inspirations and messages. My teacher is uh-mazing and I am so grateful to have her in my life. She is so down to earth and real. I loved what she said this week about yoga meditation that people assume we have to get in a state of in order to find our peace, oneness, etc., all while on our yoga mats. Which is fine and ethereal, but impractical because our lives are constantly on the go. So what she was teaching us was how to tune in immediately, especially when you are in the moment of pressure and you've got like 5 minutes to come up with an answer or something. To me, this was very valuable information to know and the key to living life prosperously. I bought myself some pocket totems this week which I am in love with. :) I picked out my spirit animal blindly from a box and got a cat carved out of onyx! I've always had some kind of interest in cats, but it's hard to fall in love with them. Plus, I'm allergic to them lol. To go with my cat I have a spell bottle and two little eyeballs. One brown eye, and one blue. <3
On Friday I hung out with a friend at this uber hipster place. Great and humorous talks followed by an earthquake. {Another one?!} What is the world coming to?? Anyway, so much has happened and once again I am extremely exhausted.
Can't wait to see what this week will hold....!
